In August, Austen's Autistic Adventures headed to watch the cowboys and cowgirls practice their "cutting cattle" skills before the competitions begin at this year's State Fair of Texas. We were so pleased to be virtually the only ones in attendance, because we could get up close and personal with both the horses and their riders (and the Coliseum is air conditioned!). This event should be no different!
After watching the horses, we will take a walk over to the Texas Discovery Gardens . "Passionate about beautiful butterflies? [They] have them. Curious about beneficial bugs and snakes? We will learn about those too!
Cost: $25
