This is our first (of what we hope will be many!) interactions with Deacon Debra Vela of Iglesia de San Francisco Asis in East Dallas. AAA donated baskets of personal items and snacks to the children of their Arts program. Most of the participants are immigrants from Africa and Mexico.
AAA will soon be assisting in their creative program and volunteering in their food pantry. Making these community connections is the cornerstone of our program. We are please that NBC 5 and reporter Larry Collins have recognized our efforts

In Memoriam: Marvel Luykx
Some sad news. Harry’s grandmother passed away peacefully two days ago. She was able to spend her last few months in Harry’s home and I know how meaningful that time was to his mom, Laura, and the whole family.
When a few of her mother’s friends asked to whom they could make a charitable donation in her name, Laura suggested AAA. Thank you so much to Maura Mack and Carla Jones. Much love and thank you again for helping keeping our program going, for Marvel’s grandson and all of us.
The Luykx-Marsch Family have been important boosters of our program since its inception, and Harry was our very first member. We are grateful for all they have done to support AAA. and offer our sincere condolences.

Two Months! Almost!
Well, we are so excited to be growing! I apologize for not posting news here in quite some time. For daily event pictures and information, please "Like" and "Follow" us on Facebook. I post almost daily there.
https://www.facebook.com/autisticadventures
Since our inception, we have done many fun things: swimming, a visit to an aquarium, trampoline park, conducted science experiments, made art, had two parties, and more!
Please consider having your "kid" join us, volunteer, and please, if you are able to give anything at all, we are MOST appreciative. Costs continue to mount up and every dollar you give goes to support my nonprofit. Every. Dollar.
Thank you again for visiting and we hope to see you soon!
