Autism Awareness at the DMA! and Klyde Warren Park

In response to requests for more Saturday events, AND now that the weather is nicer (fingers crossed) we have added this fun day to our March calendar!

We will take the train from Spring Valley station to the DMA and return to Spring Valley Station. (Or you may meet us there.)

During this four-hour event, Adventurers explore the hands-on area of the DMA and we will tour some of the art, then head over for fun activities in the delightful park across the street. As an added bonus, this Saturday the DMA is celebrating Autism Awareness. During their March Autism Awareness Family Celebration,  the DMA will offer exhibits that explore mechanical works of art with staff-led gallery experiences, art-making activities in the studio, and much more—all before public hours.

If you've never been to Klyde Warren, or your child has not, please take a look at this overview:

Parents, spend your late morning to early afternoon relaxing or doing whatever YOU want to do while we entertain your "kid."

As this event will go through the lunch hour, please either send a packaged lunch (clearly marked with name) OR extra money to buy food from one of the many food trucks that line the park.

Cost:  $45

To sign up for this event, email me at jamie@autismadventures.org or call and leave a voicemail: 214.405.7563. All major credit cards accepted or pay via Apple Pay, check, or cash. All payments must be received the before the day's adventure begins!
